Admissions:
All students may come to the library before and/or after school. In the mornings, students must get a pass from the security guard before coming to the library. In the afternoons, no passes are required. During the school day, teachers may send students to the media center with a pass. When a student enters the media center with a pass, the pass should be given to a member of the media staff.

Circulation:
Students may check out three books at a time. Students must know their student ID# to check out a book. This number is on their schedules and available from their language arts and homeroom teachers. Regular circulation items will be checked out for two weeks. Referenced items will be checked out overnight. A due date sticker will be placed on the books. If a book is damaged or lost, the patron is responsible for replacement cost.

Destiny:
Miami-Dade County Public Schools now has web based, integrated, online catalog. You can access this catalog from school, home or any computer with internet access. The address for DESTINY is http://destiny.dadeschools.net.

Courtesy:
Each person in the Media Center is there to read, to do school work, or to do special assignments. Therefore, courtesy is important, and talking loudly is unnecessary. Please remember that gum, candy, drinks, and food are not permitted in the Media Center.
